@fatpius About a week ago In was talking with a guy here in town & he told me about one of his buddies here who owned a Datsun dealership here back in the 70's. Well he took? a 72 240Z hauled it from the transport - his own garage & stuck the thing in a time capsule back in the corner. Here in my lil town lives a 1972 240Z with FIVE original miles thats been kept in a climate controlled balloon for the last 40 years. I'm dieing 2 go see it ;-)

@RESET1776 The way I figure I need? about $1000 to get it how I want, (poly bushings, drilled and slotted rotors, thermostat, tires, and MSA exhaust) As for engine modification I should be able to run mine safely at about 15 pounds of boost. If I had the funds though a RB26DET would be in my ride. But for the time being I only need about 300 horses lol!

@iexploderacoons Man, I wish I had known about RNA sooner & I would say you need it up 2 par for? that trip! Yes, I have been looking RB. Only I have the bug BAD & that's not cheap. Of all things if I hit the loto I would order RIPS's RB30 package for it. Damn things doing 7 sec 1/4 miles. Look up "Worlds fastest RB30" It's RIPS NZ & he sells crate drive lines ;-) But for now thinking newer stock RB25DET & keeping it simple.

@iexploderacoons Z cars are my soft spot. Hope the 280ZX project goes well 4 you. I was going with the motor that had the cam go on it. But Ive been dealing with a shop in TX that can get me a single turbo skyline motor with a 6 speed wire harness & computer. So I kinda like the idea of bolting in fuel? injected plug &play 300 plus HP that should get around 30 mpg. Now getting the money together for that. Well, I think you can tell from the dust. But hopefully that changes soon.

@danman911 Had the damages been at the point of my car being not drivable it would have been a whole other story. As for not filing the police report I have a feeling they are more thankful I didn't call vs. calling. I say that because this happened on Federal land "Tribal Land" So that means a? It happened to me once, and I told the guy he could give up the truck or go to jail. I drove the truck for 2 years before I sold it for scrap. After replacing the stock tank of a flywheel with a 10lbs unit, new clutch & pressure plate.. Well, about 8 hours into a 12 hour road trip to CO. the (New) throughout bearing went south. Anyway, after replacing it AGAIN & installing the new sway bars it was time for a test drive. So off to my favorite road

@BigKleib34 Thank you, I have a lot of fun with it. I've been VERY happy with the LT1 in the C-4. this is my 2nd C-4 & the prior one had the 4+3 transmission . I didn't care for that near as much as this 6 speed. Take the line & run with it? ;-)

I like it! I think the LT1 is an incredibly underrated motor. Loved the power mine made until I broke it. The six speeds are awesome as well. Always wanted a vette. Might have to steal the? "0 to felony" line :)

@TheKillerRiceball I LOVE it for longer rides. I live in an area where the interstate is 75mph at the speed limit & just relax. If needed she will wake up & pass with ease from those speeds. The mean streak is amazingly stable with enough power for the job at hand. Another cool deal for the mean streak is it's huge front tire/wheel , it's the same size tire as the ninja 250 rear tire. So far better with? potholes & such. I say GO for it!

This is probably a stupid question, but I was wondering how this bike does on long rides that are mostly highway speeds? I currently own a 1996 Kawasaki? ZL600 Eliminator (first bike) and I would not dare to take it above 60mph because it is really light and gets a little wobbly. I live in Grand Rapids, MI and travel to Detroit, MI and Toledo, OH quite a bit...I would assume that since it is a 1500 that it would be able to handle it with no problem at all. Any reply is greatly appreciated! Thanks

Since this was shot I have installed new grips, changed the headlight, & went darkside with a 195/45/17 car tire on the rear. Winter plans are beach-bar handle bars & making? a molded rear fender/hard-bag set for it. Then I can flush mount proper rear turn signals into the bags & keep looking it clean.

@BumperTapper2 I think it's a sharp build, I am still up in the air on the headlight they used. But over all I think it's a badass build. For me I am planing a whole other route for this one. So far my to do list on this one is? a set of large way pulled back beachbars vs. the drag style bars that are on it, going "darkside" with a fat car tire in the rear, and swapping headlights with a friend who has a suzuki marauder. Only Westboro got held up when a few 18 wheelers saw them stopped at a truck stop & blocked them in at a just a few miles away. I think they got lucky on that one.

@BumperTapper2 They are CRAZY! One guy from the "church" made it there. All it took was one person saying there's 1 of um now. & it was on. He had a gang of people on him with cops rushing in yelling "Make? a hole" & bikers chanting "Plug the hole" . Needless to say it was a madhouse
